How much does a new website cost?

There’s not one single answer to this question. A website design is quoted based on the needs of each individual project. Every website is unique and requires different components; we design and develop custom websites specifically for your small business. We’ll ask a lot of questions, assess your needs, and give you a quote based on that assessment. Most of our sites run in the $600 – $5,000 range, but can be more or less depending on needs.

How long will it take to get a new website?

On average, we shoot for a six to eight week turnaround, but the pace of any project is set by each client. How much input you can provide during the initial stages, your availability with feedback, how soon the content is ready – all this affects the speed of completion. The functionality needs may also play a role – more complex sites will take more time to develop.

Will my website be mobile-friendly?

Absolutely! Having a mobile-friendly website is more important than ever! We work hard to ensure your website looks great on a variety of devices.

Who writes the content for the site?

Usually that is you. You are the expert on your business, so it’s usually best if it comes from you. If you need help, we can recommend copywriters who can help clean up or write original content for you at an additional cost.

Do I have to be local to work with you?

Nope! We work with clients all over the world. Our whole team works remotely, allowing us to find the absolute best team for our business.

Will I be able to update the site myself when it’s finished?

Yes! We love it when our clients take control of their website and learn to manage it on their own. We’ll provide you with a set of comprehensive video tutorials to help you learn your way around, as well provide you with a training session to help get you on your way. (Note: We love to answer your questions!)

When do I pay?

For most projects, equal payments are made at the start, midway, and the end of the project, but we can work with you to set up a schedule that meets your needs. We understand that this is a big investment and want to help you budget for the expense in whatever way possible. We accept checks, PayPal, and all major credit cards.

What are your payment steps?

We require 50% of the project value at the time of starting the project. After the design is approved and the coding is complete, we’ll show the website from our server. Once the website is approved, you need to pay the balance 50% to enable us to transfer the website to your server. For projects with high value, we are happy to discuss and receive payments in 2 or more installments. Yes, we are here to sort it out. Let’s talk!

Do you offer domain registration and website hosting services?

No. We don’t do domain registration and hosting services. But we would love to assist the purchase of domain and hosting, based on your requirements.

What is a responsive website development?

Responsive web design or responsive web development is an approach to improve the readability of the website pages across various devices, which includes PC desktops, retina displays, tablet screens and mobile phone screens.

Why Do I Need to Hire an eCommerce Agency?

For the same reasons you’d hire a contractor to build your house: they know what they’re doing and they have the resources to get it done. Of course, if you’re building a yurt and you have a knack for building things, you might be able to pull it off yourself. If you’re building a 5BR/3BA colonial, you’ll need real experts. The same goes for eCommerce digital properties, marketing efforts and overall strategy. Consistent execution at a high level frequently surpasses the capacity of internal teams. While it’s true that you can build your in-house team, the cost and hassle of running this team would probably outweigh the benefits.  Hiring an eCommerce agency is also more of a hands-off approach. For busy owners and operators who want results, it’s the right thing to do.
